supporting collective impact

Why we're here,

Founded in rural South Carolina, The Good Fruit Foundation formed as a compassion-driven response to address critical resource resilience and systemic health challenges faced by our home counties and surrounding rural communities. We recognized that while passionate individuals, organizations, health systems, churches, and agencies are actively dedicated to making a difference, they often operate in isolation, creating unintentional and unnecessary barriers to tackling complex issues such as chronic diseases and nutrition insecurity, especially when resources are challenged. Thus, the Foundation was established to bring together stakeholders through a collective impact model.

By actively serving as a backbone or anchor organization, we help provide the essential infrastructure, coordination, and leadership needed to support collaboration, encourage equity, and achieve resilient, sustainable health outcomes. The Foundation prioritizes addressing difficult-to-reach, underlying social drivers within health, improving access to care, and enhancing community capacity by supporting evidence-based interventions, shared measurement systems, and advocating for policy and systemic changes. We help cultivate the foundations for lasting good in communities that are often unrecognized.

Our Partnerships

We are proud to partner with our local and regional churches, organizations, health systems and businesses in collective impact to support our community resiliently and sustainably. Our partnerships enable us to expand fruitful reach and multiply often limited resources and services to those in need. James 2:15-16 reminds us that faith without action is dead, urging believers to not overlook the needs of our neighbor. The Good Fruit Foundation works to embody the love of Christ in action by addressing urgent health needs in our local communities through evidence-based interventions and collective impact initiatives. Learn more how you can support this work today!
